PRP for hair.
Platelet rich plasma from your own blood, placed at the follicle to slow thinning and build density. For early to moderate pattern thinning in men and women, at the crown, part line or temples.

What is PRP for hair?
PRP uses a concentrate made from your own blood. Platelets carry growth factors that support the follicle's blood supply, extend the growth phase and slow thinning. Every blood draw is performed by the clinician treating you, with a double spin preparation.
Early to moderate pattern thinning in men and women, at the crown, part line or temples. PRP works alongside minoxidil and finasteride.
In a 2020 review of thirty published studies covering 687 patients, 29 reported improvement. The largest review to date, published in 2025, covered 43 randomized controlled trials and found PRP increased density and reduced shedding.
Tenderness and a tight feeling across the scalp for a day or two, with swelling that can reach the forehead. Shedding often slows first, at one to three months. Density builds from three to six months, and your result is reviewed at six months with comparison photographs.
An initial series of three sessions, four weeks apart, then maintenance every four to six months. Pattern hair loss is ongoing, and maintenance holds the result.
Pause ibuprofen, aspirin and naproxen a week before, but never stop a prescribed medication. No hair color or chemical treatments. Drink water and avoid alcohol the day before. On the day, eat beforehand and wash your hair with no products. Allow 60 to 90 minutes.
Do not wash your hair until the next morning. No heat, alcohol, vigorous exercise or minoxidil for 24 hours. No anti inflammatory pain relievers and no color or chemical treatments for 72 hours.
